Duplomatic Oleodinamica's pressure and temperature compensated flow control valves (typically the RPC1, RPC2, and RPC3 series) are designed to maintain a constant flow rate regardless of changes in load (pressure) or fluid viscosity (temperature).
Core Features
  1. Pressure Compensation: These valves feature an internal compensator piston that balances the pressure drop across the throttle. This ensures the actuator (cylinder or motor) moves at a constant speed even if the workload fluctuates.
  2. Temperature Compensation: As hydraulic oil heats up, its viscosity decreases. These valves are mechanically designed to counteract these thermal changes, ensuring the set flow remains stable throughout the entire operating cycle.
  3. High Precision: They allow for extremely fine adjustments, providing steady flow even at very low flow rates (near-zero drops).
2-Way vs. 3-Way Versions
  • 2-Way (RPC):* These control flow by throttling the line from inlet to outlet. They are typically used for "meter-in" or "meter-out" control. Any excess pump flow is sent back to the tank via the system’s main relief valve.
  • 3-Way (RPC-3):* These are more energy-efficient. The valve sends the precisely adjusted flow to the actuator while bypassing the excess flow directly to the tank at the required load pressure. This prevents the pump from working at maximum pressure unnecessarily, reducing heat generation.

  • Sizes: Available in CETOP 03 (NG 6) and CETOP 05 (NG 10) mounting patterns.
  • Pressure: Operating pressures usually range up to 250–310 bar.
  • Control: Most models feature a locking knob or a graduated scale for precise, repeatable settings.
