EXPFLEX 4HV210-08 and 4HV230C-08 are rotary lever operated pneumatic directional control valves used to manually change the direction of pressurized airflow in pneumatic systems. These valves operate completely mechanically by turning the hand lever left or right, requiring no electrical power.
What Are They For & What Do They Do?
  • Managing Airflow: They guide and route the pressurized air coming from the compressor to the desired ports.
  • Controlling Cylinders and Actuators: They extend, retract, stop, or hold pneumatic cylinders (pistons) in a specific position.
  • Function of 4HV210-08: This is a 4-way, 2-position (4/2) valve. Turning the lever either fully extends or fully retracts the connected cylinder.
  • Function of 4HV230C-08: This is a 4-way, 3-position (4/3) valve with a Closed Center (C) design. When the lever is placed in the middle position, all air ports close. This locks and holds the connected cylinder in its current mid-stroke position.
