Mini Series Mechanical Valve Types
The EXPFLEX Mini series includes various physical triggering mechanisms (operator types) based on application requirements:
  • S3B Plunger Valve (Mini Series): Triggered directly by a machine part applying pressure to the valve stem via a straight pushing motion.
  • S3R Roller Lever Valve (Mini Series): The integrated roller mechanism allows moving parts or cams passing axially to trigger the valve smoothly through friction.
  • S3PM Mushroom Push Button / S3PP Push Button Valve: Used for operators to manually intervene in the system, sending a start or emergency stop signal.
  • S3HL Toggle Lever / S3HS Selector Valve: Preferred in manual control panels where the position needs to remain fixed (detent) or directional changes are required.
Common Applications

These valves typically operate in a 3/2 (Three-Way Two-Position) function to generate a pneumatic signal or control single-acting cylinders. They are widely used in machine safety door locks, part detection limit switches (acting as mechanical air switches), and pneumatic logic circuits.
