EXPFLEX MV-A Series Male Type Slide Valves are mechanical control components used in pneumatic systems to manually open and close (On/Off) the air flow quickly along a pipeline.
Easily mounted on the inlet or outlet of air lines, these valves offer practical use thanks to their sliding (sleeve) mechanisms.
Core Operating Principle
Control is achieved by sliding the outer sleeve of the valve forward or backward with a simple hand movement.
  • Opening the Line (On): When the sleeve is pushed forward, the air flow starts, and the downstream system becomes active.
  • Closing and Exhausting the Line (Off): When the sleeve is pulled backward, the main air supply is cut off. The most critical feature of these valves is that upon closing, they automatically exhaust the residual pressurized air trapped inside the downstream line to the atmosphere (3/2-way function). This safely depressurizes the line after the valve, allowing maintenance or repair work to be performed safely.
