EXPFLEX MV Series Female Type Slide Valves are hand-operated sliding auxiliary valves used to control air flow quickly and safely in pneumatic systems. They are frequently preferred for maintenance or safety purposes in industrial automation lines, machinery, and pressurized air installations.
Core Operating Principle
These valves operate by the forward or backward sliding movement of the outer sleeve.
  • Open Position (Forward slide): Starts the air flow in the system and allows the pressure to move along the line.
  • Closed Position (Backward slide): Completely cuts off the incoming main air supply. At the same time, as its most critical feature, it automatically exhausts the trapped residual air remaining in the system or the connected device (such as a cylinder). This ensures no dangerous pressure remains in the line when shut down, allowing for safe maintenance.
