The EXPFLEX QIU series non-shielded pneumatic lubricator is used to ensure the smooth, continuous, and trouble-free operation of systems powered by compressed air.
What Is It Used For?
Moving components within pneumatic systems—such as cylinders, directional control valves, air motors, and actuators—are subject to constant friction. This device injects micro-fine oil droplets directly into the compressed air stream. As the air flows through the system, it carries this oil mist to lubricate the internal surfaces of all moving parts. This continuous lubrication prevents friction, overheating, premature wear, and rust formation caused by dry operation. Consequently, it significantly extends the service life of your pneumatic equipment.
How Is It Used?

  • Line Installation: The lubricator is installed directly onto the compressed air line, positioned immediately before the pneumatic equipment that requires lubrication. It must be mounted vertically, paying strict attention to the air flow direction indicators (usually marked with arrows). It is typically placed after the filter and regulator units, serving as the final component of a standard FRL (Filter-Regulator-Lubricator) trio set.
  • Oil Refilling and Monitoring: Thanks to its non-shielded design, the oil level inside the transparent bowl can be easily monitored from the outside by sight. When the oil drops near the minimum level line, the system pressure is depressurized (or handled via pressure-relief mechanisms depending on the exact model sub-type), and appropriate pneumatic tool oil (typically ISO VG 32) is added through the top filler plug.
  • Drip Adjustment: The amount of oil injected into the air stream is controlled via an adjustment screw or a sight dome located on top of the unit. While the system is actively running, you can regulate how many drops of oil are released per minute by turning this screw, allowing you to visually verify the exact drip rate through the transparent sight glass.

Return & Exchange Conditions
